Thank you to those who have let us know how our goats have performed on their farms. We enjoy getting feed back and have found that our goats seem to perform well across a wide variety of farm settings.
Troy Lohman purchased PJM Bluejay/Codyson E09 at the 2015 BPI Sale. Troy bought five more PJM Goats doelings in 2016 at the BPI Sale.
Troy Lohman Testimonial: The doelings I've purchased from PJM Goats have grown very well on a mostly forage diet. Maintained themselves with high famancha scores & required no deworming to date. Very pleased with their overall quality, phenotype & parasite resistance. Troy Lohman TNT FARM Butler Illinois 2016
Kiko goats from PJM Goats lead a flock of White Dorper sheep at the farm of Ulf Kintzel, Up State NY.
Ulf Kintzel Testimonial: I needed goats again to add to my flock of sheep for some weed control in my pasture and along fence lines. I was intrigued by Kiko goats and thought I give it a try. I raised goats many times and am experienced with many different breeds. I find Kiko goats hardy and a goat suitable to run with sheep. They are more heat and cold tolerant than many other goat breeds that I am familiar with. They are also suitable for grass-fed – that is what I do. During the two occasions when I purchased goats from PJ I found him reliable, professional, and timely. I received what I was promised. I’d always go back to PJ should I be in need of more goats. PJM D67 with one of her kids at the farm of Lee Stewart, AR.
Lee Stewart Testimonial: PJM Goats speak for themselves! The best does in my herd came from PJM Goats. PJ takes the guesswork out of purchasing breed stock. Performance tested genetics at it's best! PJ doesn't sell you a goat and causally say "see you later". He knows that with the product he delivers...you'll be back again and again. Very satisfied with my PJM purchases!

Trey Mishoe and his wife the day they picked up some nice NZ Kikos from PJM Goats.
Trey Mishoe Testimonial: I met PJ Murphy after looking online for does to start a NZ kiko herd of my own. After talking on the phone and sharing pictures, I drove 14 hours (from Swansea, SC to Pittstown, NJ) to pick up my foundation does. Upon arrival, I was surprised at the high quality of Kikos PJ had in his operation. I had recently been to a Kiko sale and the stock PJ has was taller, wider, and longer than those at the sale. I am now enjoying my foundation does I bought from PJ. They have great mothering abilities with high parasite resistance. The stock was well worth the 14 hour drive, and I will gladly do it again to do business with PJM Goats. Trey Mishoe Crescent Moon Kikos Swansea, SC
Patricia Larr Testimonial: The PJM doelings that we purchased in '14 & '15, (we call them our "Jersey Girls") have exceeded our expectations! They have performed extremely well when placed with our home grown doelings, who are monitored as a group under conditions which help reveal response to parasite pressure and varying (minimal input) feed/forage conditions. As of November 2015 they rank in the top 3rd of the group in terms of growth, fecal egg counts and/or famacha scores. One of the 2015 doelings, a Bluejay daughter, is leading the group in daily gain with an adg ratio of 126. Our 2014 doeling sired by Copyright has consistently maintained a famacha score of 1 as well as below average fecal egg counts in the hot and wet Hoosier summers of '14 &'15. None of them has needed deworming and have exhibited outstanding vigor and health, in spite of the stress involved in moving to a new herd from New Jersey to Indiana. We purchased these outside genetics to improve our doe herd performance and are confident that they will do just that... can't wait to see how they and their kids do in the coming years! Thanks PJ for our outstanding "Jersey girls"! Pat Larr and Betty Joubert Hoosier Hills Kikos
