Proven and tested Herd Sire - PBG Willd William WV22
unavailable
PBG Wild William WV22.
We were very happy to announce the arrival of this WV Tested buck to the PJM Goats Kiko herd from Hoosier Hills Kikos and Pat Larr in 2022. He performed extremely well in the West Virginia Test and had a very balanced overall performance.
Finishing with an "overall" placing of 15th out of 200 starters with all three indices used to calculate that placing.
His ADG figures were impressive with an ADG of .65 pounds per day on test. That gave him a placing rank of 12th out of 200 and a ratio figure of 152.07.
He showed excellent worm resistance - finishing the test at a Zero and being joint 12th. His ratio figure was 115.77.
The REA scan was interesting with the buck having a good body fat score of 3 MMs with the average being 2.24. That is 34% more than average. Fat has been shown to be important for animals to endure times of scarcity and helps doe fecundity - in moderation. The REA figure is adjusted to a body weight of 100 lbs LW and his REA ranked pretty close to the 80% mark out of the tested bucks for a ratio of 116.4. Again, muscle is a very positive trait and helpful for maintaining of BCS and productivity on farm.
Sired by a son of GFI Wild Bill called BWP Wild Billy (who was out of a Mr speckles doe) from Wes Pinneo and now standing at Pat's and out of a WEB Blue's Dominator (Maryland 2016 Test Winner) daughter homebred by Pat, his pedigree is packed with tested and proven genetics. (For pedigree and test junkies - his dam is line-bred to Shogun.) His 3/4 brother also really excelled and is currently being retained at Hoosier Hills. Pat has been diligent in breeding high quality performance tested goats for many years and winning The Top Herdsman Award at WV this year is a testament to her hard work and dedication.
The buck came tested disease negative and arrived in excellent condition. He has tight, hard feet and correct teat structure with his dam drying off completely with small teats. He has a dark FAMACHA.
It has been a pleasure to see kids sired by him in our pastures in the Spring. He produces very hardy kids that are active and get up to suck and survive the most perilous first days of their lives. The kids are extremely worm hardy and require less help with worm burden than the vast majority of sires. His kids have had very good hooves with straight hooves that grow very slowly. Thanks for your interest. I can be contacted by email at [email protected] or text or call at 9086128860.

Yearling Buck - PJM White William N25
Confirmed -Thank you to Iowa Kiko Goats Adam Ledvina
From our 2023 crop of kids we kept only one buck kid for breeding. I have done this for many years where I select the best buck kid and offer only that kid as a registered prospect. For many years, I offered no registered bucks at all.
This buck is a triplet from a doe who is 7 years old in 2024 and in great shape. She has been showed repeatedly as a 4 H goat and has won many classes. She has reared kids every year and is our only remaining daughter of CPK Rooster Cogburn. She has never had a kid with extra teats and has an excellent udder with great teats herself.

2023 April/May-born Yearling does *unavailable
This year of 2024 we are offering multiple yearlings for sale by private treaty. These yearling does are the result of 15 years of selection with a particular concentration on the maternal capability, worm resistance and ease of care. All these yearlings were born outside on grass in the Spring with rain and cold nights and no overhead shelter. They are about 4 months younger than most winter born kids and made it through the summer on grass and in the woods with good worm resistance. The unthrifty from last years crop are dead or in our wether stores pen. No culls offered as registered does. We expect these does to be hardy, kid unassisted and have very good udders like their mothers.
Hauling Options -
Those possibly interested in some of our yearling does may be interested to know about this shipping option. I spoke with Joe and he anticipates going within 2 hours of me in PA on both legs of these huge trips. Firstly, on Thursday Feb 29th and again in mid March. I will be going to meet him in mid March for that part of the trip. I could bring goats to meet him on 2/29 but for 2 or more goats only. It will be a 5 hour round trip for me.
If you'd like to have some of our yearlings hauled along these routes, reach out to me ASAP about this 2/29th option. Thank You.

2022 Registered New Zealand Kiko Two year Old Bred does
unavailable
We offer here two extremely nice does that were kept to be part of our own breeding herd. Both sired by the WV Buck Test buck SDF Huron WV21. They are currently bred to kid in late April /May 2024 to PBG Wild William WV 22. So the kids will be 3/4s top performing WV Buck Test bucks. The kids would be amongst the best bred kids in the US this year and especially in the North Eastern States. They were born outside on grass and raised through the summer with little extra care.
3 Year old registered Kiko does - NZs and one Purebred
Unavailable
This set of three year old does are young does that I am very proud of given their performance for me. These does all kidded as yearlings outside on grass in April and May and they all reared kids as yearling does. They all have excellent udders with small and correctly positioned teats. They are moderate sized does that do not require high levels of maintenance. Many had triplets successfully as two year old does and are currently pregnant to PBG Wild William WV22 - a tested buck which finished 15th out of 200 test bucks in the WV Buck test of 2022. This is an opportunity to produce kids by a high end test buck and out of carefully bred and proven does that have a full life of production ahead of them. With heavy culling over many years, these does have proven and carefully selected lineage from a successful breeding program. They are all due to kid in the last week of April and May of 202.
Special 2017 doe - PJM Rooster/AustinBoy G47
Unavailable
This is a special doe who has kidded and raised kids every year. She has an excellent udder for her age and again has kidded outside repeatedly and raised three very good kids in 2023. All three made our cut and actually her buck kid in the litter was our pick of the bucks this year. Her pedigree is an exceptional concentration of classic high performance Kiko genetics. She may be an excellent option for those interested in such pedigrees and may cross with a rare buck to produce something rare and special.
2023 Sales and Events
Mountain Premier Invitational 2023
May 27th, 2023 in Weston, WV
The upcoming Mountain Premier Invitational promises again to be one of the Premier Kiko Goat sales of the year. The date is coordinated with drop-off day for the WV Buck Test and brings together a group of committed Kiko Goat breeders. The event is to be held May 27th, 2023 in Weston, WV. The facility is of excellent quality with lots of parking space in a quiet area with hotels in the area.
PJM Goats is consigning the following lots of some of the best genetics that we have had as part of our performance tested Kiko breeding program.
1. SKY 213 Blue's Copyright - Combines the hugely successful tested genetics of Blue's Son and his dam was a full sister to the equally noted Titan - the sire of Hammer. Copyright has earned his place as a legendary sire and grand sire of performance tested genetics. Sire of multiple top ten bucks in the Forage Based Maryland Test, Sire and Grandsire of Multiple Winners of the WV Feedlot Test. His daughters have produced several Top-Ten Test bucks in multiple performance tests for their farms. Such tests include Maryland, West Virginia and Oklahoma. One of the most successful Performance Tested Kiko Sires ever. 2 Straws
2. CPK Rooster Cogburn - Rooster was the product of an outcross of two of the most desirable early imported NZ families - Money Maker and Goliath. Rooster was sired by ELH Hemp’s Golden Boy (A half brother to ELH Blue’s Son and out of a Money Maker x Generator doe) and out of a Heavily line bred Goliath doe. He was a large bodied (top weight of 280 pounds) Kiko with easy fleshing and a slick coat. His bucks grow well and his daughters produce exceptional kids. He provides an opportunity to add early genetics with proven records to your herd.
3. SKY Xclusively Blue - Sired by Blue's Son and out of a BBM Dale doe, Xclusively Blue offers a rare combination of the hugely popular Blue's Son genetics and the less frequently used but highly prized BBM Dale genetics. His dam and her sister were well regarded by Sky Shivers and produced well for him. These straws offer an opportunity to add Blue's Son genetics from a well respected but less available dam side. 2 Straws
4. Embryo - 2 Embryos sired by SAN Sonny's Tasman Tricks and out of the PJM Copyright/AustinBoy D26 doe. These embryos are an opportunity to add the families of numerous very successfully tested and documented performance Kiko families.
Sire: Sired by SAN Sonnys Tasman Tricks - A son of HKF Sonny Boy (and thus half brother to MRG Outlaw) and out of GAL Aeriel. GAL Aeriel combines the genetics of Blue's Son and Tasman Aristocrat.
Tricks' pedigree is made up of the Blue's Son, Tasman Aristocrat and Goatex Goliath. We selected “Tricks” based on a number of factors which include his growth performance, his structure, his sire and dam and my experience with the genetics in his pedigree. When we visited “Good As Gold Kikos” in Oklahoma in 2017, we inspected the doe herd. There I got to see GAL Aerial amongst some other very good does. I was very impressed with her femininity, structure (Conformation and udder/teat quality), stature and prolificacy. “Tricks” sire, HKF Sonny Boy is the well known sire of MRG Outlaw. That obviously makes “Tricks” a half brother to Outlaw. The performance of Sonny’s sire and his other descendants in central performance tests is well known. Excellent worm resistance is a trait frequently associated with the family.
Dam: PJM Copyright/AustinBoy D26 - A Copyright daughter of immense stature and body who combined the hugely successful Copyright genetics with the genetics of Austins Boy. Both bucks have featured heavily in multiple top-ten test-bucks that have been used extensively in numerous large herds across the country. A quick search of Austin Boy genetics will see how he has been selected for in many successful breeding programs. The embryos brings together proven performance test families using a dam that is sound and have good maternal traits.
5. Embryo - 2 Embryos sired by SAN Sonny's Tasman Tricks and out of PJM Legacy/Copyright F46.
Dam: PJM Legacy/Copyright F46. This doe was a large doe combining two sires which we had at the farm that both produced multiple top 5 test bucks. Her sire, MJI RC's Blue Legacy, produced the second and third place buck in WV in the one year we tested his genetics. We sold Legacy and he went to Good as Gold and there he again quickly produced a top Ok test buck. F46's dam was PJM Copyright/Austin D26. She combines the tested genetics of Copyright and Austins Boy. We outline in detail the power of her genetics in detailing her embryos on offer in the sale.
NOTE: All Straws stored with Dr Weiss, Greencastle, PA. All straws must be shipped before June 15th or after September 1st.
Thank You.

2022 Superior Sale Consignment Doe
PJM Pharaoh/Copyright L53
Sired by SDF Pharaoh. We added Pharaoh to our herd after seeing his dam and multiple sisters. They are fine does with excellent udders and the slow growing feet and we are emphasizing the maternal contribution our herd sires can bring to our program. SDF Pharaoh has had 10 goats tested at the WV Test and they have performed well.
The dam to this triplet doe is PJM Copyright/Austin's Boy H17. Sky Shivers has said on Facebook about H17 - "Having had a working relationship with a lot of goats in her pedigree, she looks like the accumulation of all those grand performance proven genetics. In my opinion, she could be the maternal poster goat for Kikos".

Thanks to Kent Perkins
Sold with many thanks to Kent and Cindy Perkins of Honobia, Oklahoma. We appreciate the Hat 55 Ranch Kiko breeding program adding this buck to their well established program.
Sired by MJI Blue Legacy and out of a Copyright daughter. His dam is a full sister PJM "Tru Test" who was a Maryland finalist and she is a half sister (from the same dam) to "Harvest Jack" who was a Maryland Finalist also. Semen Straw consignment to the 2018 MPI
In order to make available a highly desirable Semen Straw lot at our inaugural MPI sale, PJM Goats has consigned straws from the remarkable herd sire - BBM Dale. One of his sons which we had is detailed further down this page.
BBM Dale is sired by South West Cisco and as such would be a half brother to ECR Rusty but given that Dale and Rusty share "Confederate" on their dam side and in fact share full siblings in the pedigrees of their dams, they are more than half brothers.
Dale had a massive chest and fore end and was marketed as "The Doe Maker". His daughters featured in the pedigree of many successfully tested bucks from our farm and others.
Do not miss this chance to purchase a bit of Kiko performance history and add BBM Dale to your genetics options.
